This is quite surprising... coming from the team of such a prestigious conference.

Just a short article, but fraught with such huge negative consequences....

First and foremost for the young lady and her family, due to those ostensibly traumatizing circumstances in March.

For the players and their families, based on losing their scholarships, the opportunity to play D1 sports, and very likely departure from school once the scholarships are lost.

For the University, a very negative message to the community concerning their failure to teach and mentor their student athletes.

And for those who fail to recognize the human tragedy in these events.

The school should follow the dismissal of these three with a serious investigation of the head coach and his recruiting practices. One of these three had a history and the Oregon head coach knew of it when the kid transferred.
