Someday all the missionaries will be called home as the world descends into chaos and war, then the end will come and Christ will reign again.

I am really looking forward to the part about Christ reigning again. I am not looking forward to the other stuff before that.

Some day, the US will have a president who stands up to Putin and leads the drive to oust Russian special forces out of Crimea and parts of Eastern Ukraine. These so-called referenda are fraudlent, carried out by the Russian special forces. At the outbreak of WWII, the LDS missionaries serving in Europe were reassigned. After the war, the LDS missionaries returned to Europe. The people of Ukraine, abandoned by Obama, Cameron, and Merkel, will again be free of Russian occupation.

I worry about the members in the Ukraine who seem so faithful and valiant. I worry about the status of the temple in Kiev and what impacts this might have on that.

Oh yes, if only Obama was more like Bush and rushed headlong into wars that take forever to extricate ourselves from. Yeah, that's what America and the Ukraine need. *end sarcasm* I get so tired of everyonie turning everything into a chance to bash Obama for things that Bush did FAR worse at (which is basically EVERYTHING!), and, lest we forget, the Republicans haven't been able to find an electable presidential candidate the last two elections, and the 2016 isn't looking any better for them, at the moment. The issue in the Ukraine is *NOT* Obama's fault, and there's nothing cogent and fact-checked that accurately says that it is.

As for the Ukraine, I'm glad the Church is pulling out missionaries who could be endangered by civil unrest. It's better to concentrate on safer areas until this situation is resolved.

We, too, are concerned about the temple in Kiev because we are serving a senior mission in a neighboring country and it's "our" temple. We just sent a group to the Kiev Temple where they spent a peaceful and wonderful week, although attendance was down for the temple. We had one member back out of the trip because of fear. For now, at least , temple work is continuing, which is a bright spot in this troubled world.

@Quagthistle

Obama projects weakness. The bad guys of the world sense it. I'm not for another war, but I do think that Obama fits nicely into the 'weak on national defense' mold that has haunted the Democrats. I'm certain Putin wouldn't try what he has done if we had a stronger leader.

@Quagthistle - As an independent voter we agree in at least one thing, President Bush was a terrible president in many areas. But I think you may be blinded to Obama's weaknesses because I rate him just as low as Bush. As a school administrator I tell my faculty that it's easy to be the teacher every student likes: just appease them. President Obama rose to his ranks appeasing the masses yet delivering on very little of what he promised. This is why we may never have a Republican president ever again in the US. The morality has decayed to the point where the majority choose what is not correct (see Mosiah 29).

As a Christian I cannot support war on foreign soil nor can I support the plethora of laws supporting immorality. We need a Ron Paul type of candidate who understands the Constitution and the morality needed to uphold it.

I have been saying for many years "keep your eye on the Russians". I cannot remember where I read it but it was prophesied that a strong nation would invade Europe and Joseph Smith stated the following "when the great bear (Russia) lays her paw on the lion (England) the winding up scene is not far distant". Britain and America have always come to the aid of those who need support and unfortunately there are not many like us and the USA. There are many very good people in Russia but it's not them who are running their country.

What most people do not realize is the Vladimir Putin is a Christian. He is also trying to establish good morale values in his country. The IMF Bank wants to take control of the Ukraine, and they will do far more harm than good. I have been in the military, and understand propaganda and how these bankster criminals that have taken over governments worldwide. He stopped a war with Syria, and people have NOT been the told the truth about that situation. Does Benghazi sound familiar? Obama was shipping arms to the Al Quaeda rebels through Benghazi, for the rebels that are beheading the Christians, Jewish people,and Muslims in Syria. Has anyone heard of the New World Order? Our Presidents have been talking about it for years. Do a search. There are evil people trying to create a one world government,one world currency, and we will lose all of our freedoms if that happens, because these people are evil and also own our media. Our Constitution is already hanging by a thread. So, do your own research regarding these other countries, and always search for truth, because people will be deceived in the last days.
