Glad I got in under the old agreement...that extra $12 a year would be a killer to absorb.

I left Netflix behind when they doubled their fees a couple years ago. I had considered signing up again but charging new customers more? Most companies will give a discount when you sign up, not charge you extra. I've been perfectly happy and well entertained without Netflix for the past few years. I suppose there's really no reason I need them again.

I've enjoyed using Netflix for many years. I wasn't happy when they changed the pricing a few years back, but it was sort of understandable. I simply quit getting the DVDs. This time, I'm very unhappy about the upcoming (delayed) price increase that will be charging for "original" content that I don't watch. With Amazon also raising their Prime rate in order to afford HBO shows I'm not interested in, I'm doubly unhappy.
