Nope, doesn't matter, this is a schedule 3 drug we are talking about here. No need for truth just know marijuana is very bad for you.

Doctrine and Covenants 89:10 And again, verily I say unto you, all wholesome herbs God hath ordained for the constitution, nature, and use of man—
11 Every herb in the season thereof, and every fruit in the season thereof; all these to be used with prudence and thanksgiving.
Moses 4: 24 Thorns also, and thistles shall it bring forth to thee, and thou shalt eat the herb of the field.
I believe that God placed all things here, some to torment us and some to heal us when used with understanding, prudence and thanksgiving. Incarcerating people who eat or use oils derived from those things that grow here naturally is at best misguided and destructive and at worst tyranny - especially when compared to giving honor and massive amounts of money to those who tell us we must use chemicals which have horrible side effects to take the place of those natural substances.
The so called war on drugs is a war on people, often those that need help the most. People need to inform themselves about both sides of this issue from unbiased sources and rethink the way we are doing things. Thanks for this article.

Federal laws not allowing the study of the beneficial effects of any naturally growing herb in our hemisphere is what could be called conspiring men in the pharmaceutical and medical industry using the centralized power of the federal government to protect their craft.

The warning in the 89th section of the D&C is specific about the use of tobacco but not about marijuana. Without continuing revelation on specific herbs we have to assume that marijuana, like tobacco needs to be used with 'judgment and skill'.*
