Raids target synthetic drugs, sellers across US

    It's somewhat ironic and hypocritical that the federal government clamps down on many of these types of synthetic drugs that are no stronger or potent than marijuana, while allowing it (pot) to be openly sold and used in Colorado and Washington. The government is certainly sending mixed signals.

    The big question to many people is that if it's alright for one particular mind-altering drug to be sold and used, then why not these others that basically do the same thing? And that's a tough one to answer. Hopefully, there is something more altruistic at stake to the American society than just being concerned about where the profits are going and how they're being used.
