I just heard that Portland is talking to Chicago about trading Damian for
Jimmer...The deal may not go through however because Chicago is
demanding a 2nd player or a future pick?I guess Portland must have a
few opponents they really want to Jimmer...Or something! Go Cougs
He is a special player. What a season he has had I have to hand it
to byu fans, they told us 5 years ago there was a point guard playing in Utah
that would be a star in the nba. They were right. He may even go on to have a
career as incredible an Andre miller, top 10 in assists in the history of the
league!Go utes!Go weber stateGo Damian!
Sweater & Chris B-Is that "weak tea" the best
you've got? In the "Go" portion only 1/3 is devoted to the Utes.
Does that mean you are an alum of Weber State?I've been
impressed with Lillard ever since his last game vs. BYU. Weber State got
slaughtered, but no one could stop Lillard. It has been fun to watch him
progress and achieve at the next level.
I can still see Jimmer finding a place on Trailblazers team. And not in coming
off of the bench for long, either. Portland won't be able to keep what
they've got too much longer. As the payroll expands to satisfy the
starters, they'll have to weed out the bench, removing those that
don't produce. That's where Jimmer comes in. Stotts should relish the
idea of having a great shooter on the second squad. For sure, he'd know
exactly how to get the most out of him. He does it all of the time with the team
that he's got!Well, GO BLAZERS!GO COUGARS!GO
What a great game this was. Clutch plays by both teams, very well played. The Spurs-Mavericks games have also been very well played.By
contrast, I'm watching Game 7 of the Pacers-Hawks...stagnant offense, poor
shooting...looks like a JV game. The East is horrible.
Awesome player...all-around skills, good to see a team-oriented player have
success. Go Lillard!
Lillard has proven to be a thousand times more valuable than Fredette, and hands
down, in his first two years as a pro, has already surpassed the best that any
other school in Utah has produced, including Miller. Case in point, how many
unanimous rookies of the year has this state had? 1. How many guys made the
All-Star team in their sophomore season? 1. How many guys have hit arguably the
biggest shot in the history of a NBA franchise? Lillard is the only one.
It's ridiculous how much respect he get's nationally, and how
disregarded he is locally. It's really shameful, all cause he didn't
go to the U or BYU. The best player Utah has ever produced, went to Weber State.
Bob LYou must have missed the recent spurt in DNews pieces about
Lillard. And, yes, he may well be the best Utah has produced
