SLC for the DNC? Thanks for the laugh. Talk about hostile territory.

Actually, the DNC would feel right at home. If you haven't noticed SLC is very much liberal and democratic LOL.

In addition to Chicago and New York, the cities under consideration include: Atlanta; Cleveland; Columbus, Ohio; Detroit; Indianapolis; Las Vegas; Miami; Nashville; Orlando; Philadelphia; Phoenix; Pittsburgh and Salt Lake City.

What is this?
A Sesame Street quiz?

One of these things is NOT like the others,
One of these things just doesn't belong.

The only advantage to holding the DNC convention in Salt Lake is that the Delegates would have the venue ALL to themselves.

[But it would make it much be easier for us LDS Democrats to get in and have some National Limelight after the Romney rumpus...]

I guess the Democrats saw how well the atheist convention went and thought they'd be right at home here.

Well, without the need for the customary "gratuities" for local politicians typical of the other contender cities, that would save the Donkey Party a ton of money right there. Of course, it would cost more for them to bus in their usual hordes of rent-a-mob supporters and protestors.

But, since the Dems are really good at spending other people's money, costs really do not matter much to them.

I just hope they go anywhere else.

Would be great and huge economic benefit. IT will be another ACA success observance.

Detroit seems the best fit for a Democratic Party convention venue.

Detroit would be a show case for the DNC financial model.

Salt Lake City, UT

It would be great, but very unlikely,if Salt Lake City is chosen to host the convention.
