Airport security doesn't exist and quite likely never will. If we put this much effort into achieving it and an inexperienced young teen can still do this, there really isn't much hope.

The San Jose Airport has gotten too big too fast. I'm not surprised there are security lapses. What I am surprised at is how this kid survived the flight. There just isn't enough oxygen at 35,000 feet to keep you alive for five or six hours. That part of the story just doesn't make sense.

so we have to undergo a groping or virtual stripsearch to board a plane, and this kids can just walk out onto the tarmac and hide in a wheelwell. GOOD JOB TSA
