Chesapeake Bay impact crater adds to sea level rise

    Aren't the worlds oceans all connected? And, isn't it a law of physics that water level is constant for all connected waters? If so, how could the ocean level rise in Chesapeake Bay without the same rise occurring New York harbor or Australia or Alaska? Sounds more like a local tide issue.
