Not sure how I feel about a world where Rio 2 can even potentially challenge the Captain. I saw the first Rio with the kids and the idea of a second round of this nonsense is amazing, let alone the idea that it can challenge one of the Avengers.

I agree....Marvel the "Comic King" (now big enough to produce in it's own studios), has made a true patriotic (yet fantastic fantasy) movie. The volunteers that fight evil against freedom and good. Remember the old comics and cartoons of good verses evil? This movie trikes very close to home in today's mindset world! Let us protect you (by taking some of your freedoms with the process of personal invasion of privacy), through government sanctioned corporations approval, the definition of human threats.

I read with interest the "top remark" which stated that Rio2 was as much 'nonsense' as the original. I find it even more interesting that a G movie could do almost as well as PG-13 rated Captain America. G movies are for children--they are wonderfully simplistic with little violence, no sex and straight-forward dialogue. They are not 'nonsense'--they are for an audience that no one seems to care about---small children and adults that are sick of violence, sex and filthy language in most movies. Don't denigrate the G movie--it has more fans than you think.
