"Obamacare' under attack as conservatives eye 2016"

In attacking Obamacare, Republican candidates are attacking themselves.

Since Republicans in Congress absolutely REFUSED to be involved in the creation of the law, everything they see wrong in the ACA is partially their fault.

Republicans in Congress could have helped create the law. Obama asked them to do exactly that. But these big tough Republicans thought they could bully this new President into trashing the law.

In other words, Republicans politicians displayed an amazing lack of political savvy, as well as laziness, and irresponsibility.

These Republican legislators CHEATED Republican voters back home by refusing to legislate, which happens to be their job. That's why they are called "Legislators."

It's not Obama's fault that Republicans have lousy public servants.

I can't understand why anyone would want to vote Republican.

According to the latest Gallup poll, 20% fewer Republicans believe Obamacare will make their lives worse than last month. That's a pretty steep drop.

Perhaps the GOP should demand that Kathleen Sebelius should resign, or stomp their feet and hold hearings on whether Hawaii should release any pertinent information about President Obama's birth certificate.

Maybe the House GOP leadership should impeach Bill Clinton again.

There's got to be something!

@GaryO:
"Since Republicans in Congress absolutely REFUSED to be involved in the creation of the law..."

Wrong. The Republicans attended all bill debates and markups, offering many amendments to the bill. All were rejected by the Democrats who controlled both houses at the time.

"In other words, Republicans politicians displayed an amazing lack of political savvy, as well as laziness, and irresponsibility."

Well, that's somewhat true. In order to get reelected you have to be a Santa Claus. Democrats, and particularly Obama, are good at that.

Here's some eye-opening facts about Obamacare:

Page 50/section 152: Provides for health insurance for illegals.

Page 58 and 59: The government will have real-time access to an individual's bank accounts to withdraw money for those who fail to sign up.

Page 65/section 164: The plan will be government subsidized for all union members, union retirees....

Page 241 and 253: Doctors will all be paid the same regardless of specialty, and the government will set all doctors' fees.

Page 272. section 1145: Cancer hospital will ration care according to the patient's age.

Page 425, line 4-12: Folks on Social Security will be required to attend an "end-of-life planning" seminar (death counseling) every five years.

** Page 429, line 13-25: The government will specify which doctors can write an end-of-life order.

The bill does not apply to members of Congress.

Always a complaint...... but NEVER A SOLUTION. This parade of nothingness is getting boring on the part of the Republican Party. Get on with doing your jobs, and that isn't just opposing anything and everything (even if it's good) that the Obama Administration has put forth.

Step one is cleaning house... getting rid of the junk.

No surprise Republicans want to over turn the ACA. Just like they did on Social Security and Medicare. Add those two to the great historical list of Republican opposition to: seat belts, regulating the tobacco industry, the EPA, over time pay, any type of union, the 8 hour work day and the 40 hour work week, OSHA, women's rights . . . .on and on and on.

After all what are we our brother's keeper?

If Republicans are smart, they'll be all over the Dems who voted for this train wreck like a pack of dogs on a three legged cat.

@wrz getting rid of the junk? Well the first would be the Tea Party Obstructionists that have done absolutely nothing for health care, social security, Medicaid, Elderly Care and so on.

Also the Republicans did nothing to participate in the Health care debate, their amendments and changes were all politically motivated to derail a decent change in health care without any citizen concerns.

We teach our children it is bad to be a bully but how do we teach our federal government its bad to be a bully? Vote out the Obamacare bullies in Nov!

@wrz. The government is not going to subsidize union healthcare. It is the other way around. Since unions generally give better health benefits their plans will be taxed to help cover the cost of ACA.

Did you get your information straight from Rush?

Hey wrz - You're list of Obamacare outrages is completely FALSE and fictional according to Snopes. com.

They originate from an email sent out by a Judge David Kithil back in 2009 . . . And it's just one more example of lying Right Wingers lying to each other.

Look it up.

Why do Right Wingers feel compelled to lie so much?

I'm pretty sure I know the answer to that one.

It's because reality rarely matches their claims, and lies are all they have.

wrz - You're "eye-popping facts about Obamacare" are all FAlSE according to Snopes.com . . . Just more made-up baloney courtesy of Right Wing America.

They stem from an email of falsehoods authored by a Judge David Kithil back in 2009.

Look it up.

Are we that uneducated, that a political party has to tell us if Obamacare is good or bad? Look around you and do your own thinking.

Pathetic!
