BYU lost, but they rattled UConn enough for me to predict the latter isn't going to win it all this year.

Can't say I'm sorry this prediction was shattered. 19-point blowout wins are seldom the springboard to a downfall. College Basketball Capitol of the World=Storrs, CT.

@ UCONN, you have every reason to be proud of your school. Both men and women, national championships in the same year. That is truly fabulous! Congrats!

Can't teach height, UCONN reminds of UCLA in the Wooden years. Of course, excellent coaching, but that added to great players is what makes the yearly run to the Championship. That said, this seemed like a team of wonderful people, far as I could tell. Congratulations!

UConn,

You saved a random comment about someone predicting UConn wouldn't win the women's basketball title just to bring it up when they did?

LOL. Too funny.

Chris B, no need to save it, it was only a week and a half ago, and said at the time I'd be happy to revisit the prediction when it was tested.

Esquire, thanks! The women's title was half expected, the men's was nothing short of incredible. Good luck to the teams in Utah next year!
