Animal shows are a large factor in getting people interested in caring for and
preserving them in the first place. On top of that, reputable organizations
such as SeaWorld treat their animals well; the "bad guys" who would
misuse these animals or keep them in poor conditions will continue to do so
despite measures to outlaw it.
I remember a time in my youth when the animal activists encouraged us to go to
sea world and other natural wild life facilites like zoos, and aquariums to learn
about these animals. How ironic that the supposed supporters are now the
attackers. Talk about cannibalizing their own. Animal rights activist seem to be
slipping further down the insanity road. OR are they eventually going to wake up
and realize they're an animal life form as well and part of the eco system
they claim to support. Have this same problem here. How many more city weekend
warrior, PETA supporting, university eggheads are we going to have to rescue off
the mountain hiking trails and back woods ski areas because they go off the
track, don't follow trail signs, and ignore warnings meanwhile the people
they mock and attack like the outdoorsman, the hunter, the fisherman, and the
farmer can only marvel at their arrogant foolishness. If evolution has taught us
anythig its maybe city life intellectualism is destroying are natural common
sense instincts and we're de-evolving into sociatal community amoebas.
This is moronic. The whales are cared for waaaaaay better than if they out in
the open ocean....food, medical care, and love/attention, etc. Plus, contrary
to what liberals say, animals are not on the same level as people. Yes,
animals, as living creatures, should be treated with respect, but that
doesn't mean they have all the same 'rights' as people.
Liberalism run amok....
@A Guy With a Brain"The whales are cared for waaaaaay better
than if they out in the open ocean....food, medical care, and love/attention,
etc."Really? Did I just read that an orca from a large family
who is isolated from his/her family for life to live in a pool is treated better
than in the wild? You honestly believe that? Perhaps you should study up on
orcas a little. I think they'll take the "love/attention" from
their families over the Sea World staff any day. Orcas are not solitary
