They will never find this jet and its passengers because it did not crash and breakup like an aircraft out of control into a destructive mass of parts and pieces. The plane crash landed intact and in one piece then over a period of hours filled with water and sank to the bottom. The plane remained air tight as long as they kept the doors and escape hatches closed and no reason to blow them with no rafts or boats to move the people to.

After the plane sank below surface the hatches and doors couldn't be opened because of water pressure on the outside. Planes are designed structurally to hold from the inside and it doesn't take much outside water pressure to keep the doors and hatches closed and not removable. A design flaw that is not part of the construction of aircraft. Cabin pressurization in low density external air is the opposite of the mid ocean laws of physics and ship building external pressures.

In a few years some float-able parts and pieces will float to the surface but not where they are searching.
