Its only logical that the Untied States should also ban the international adoption by amreicans, its nothing more than human trafficking and criminal abduction of children by host countries. These babies and children don't deserve this kind of treatment from american arrogance calling abduction as adoptions. These children deserve the heritage of their families and country, Americans are criminals in these cases and its criminla that our government is slowing this human trafficking across borders.

This should be good news for any child that is waiting to be adopted here in the U.S.

The reality is that there are more than enough children available for adoption right here in the US. The problem? Too many parents have their hearts set on adopting a healthy white male infant. Meanwhile, there are special needs children, minority children, older children, and siblings who need to be adopted together, all being funneled through foster care homes because no one wants them. They're often bounced from home to home, growing up with no permanent ties or relationships, eventually being dropped from the system when they turn eighteen, never finding a family of their own. Granted, it may not be as easy to raise these children, but does that mean they're less deserving of a family than children from other countries? If it's really, "all about the children", then look at children in need of adoption right here in this country.

As sad as it is for those children abroad, what about the thousands here in our country? Get rid of the red tape and the exorbitant amount of money is costs to adopt. Isn't this a different kind of human trafficking and the highest bidder gets the prize? And the fact that there are organizations that refuse to allow interracial adoptions is a hollow argument and rings flat. Again, get rid of the excessive red tape and clean up social services that are run by government agencies.
