Wow! This is the second high profile coal-related environmental catastrophe in the last few months.

And not long before that, Republicans were heaping ridicule on the Obama administration for having "declared war on coal."

"Conservatives" were extremely miffed back then at the EPA's insistence that regulations must be upheld . . . Soooooooo miffed that they made a point to pressure inspectors to avoid scrutinizing any problems that might negatively impact the coal economy.

Well, they got their way. They saw to it that those horrible government regulations were ignored . . . and they consequently poisoned Huntington WV's water supply and dumped toxic sludge in a stream that may well poison North Carolina farmlands when the flooding comes this spring.

That's what happens when "Conservatives" get their way.

The moral of the Story?

NEVER let "Conservatives" get their way.
