Most of us came home too quick and alone and we all knew something was wrong but didn't know what it was. So we became Alcholics and used a lot of drugs. I was daignosed with PTSD 35 years after Vietnam. I know for a fact that there are guys who were kicked out of the Army because of this issue while still in country and they are as deserving as the rest of us for help. My only issue with this is how to insure the reason they were discharged was in fact PTSD. This condition can and does ruin your life and there is no cure, just medication and group support. I meet weekly with some of the best men I know at the VA who are in the same boat as I am. They are my anchor to sanity and my brothers.
