"Yet most of the attention will be on Samsung, which on Monday evening is expected to announce a successor to its flagship Galaxy S4 smartphone. That's bad news for all the other phone makers trying to get noticed...."

Anyone see the irony in this? The press is complaining about....the amount of press coverage Samsung will get with their device...whether it deserves it or not.

Maybe the press should quit being a bunch of sheep and educate consumers about what the best phones actually are for the money spent.

Personally I am not a big Galaxy fan. They are physically cheap devices. They do have some nice software features but alot of them are gimmicks. I don't care too much for the bloated samsung touchwiz software "skin" on all Samsung devices.

Google Nexus and pure Android for me. Once I made the switch I have never considered going back. Not to mention they are hundreds less to purchase to begin with. You would be hard pressed to find a better value. Just buy them direct from Google Play Store and don't get lured into all the various carrier scams that overcharge you.
