Regarding the snow forcast for Atlanta, the original forcast called for up to 1 inch of snow. The weather channel up dated the forcast at 3:30 AM Tuesday and now the forcast was for up to 3 inches. The Atlanta and Georgia Govts. had plenty of time to react and close the schools. Over 2,000 kids had to spend the night at their school. Busses could not move and parents were not able to pick up their kids. It started snowing about 11:30 AM on Tuesday and by 1:30 the traffic on the highways and side streets were jam packed due to the snow and ice. Our wonderful Idiot Governor decided to issue a state of emergency at 3:30 PM Tuesday. It was the most unbelievable fiasco that U have ever seen.
