Now days, the only way any kind of immigration reform will happen is if the Democrats take control of the Congress in 2014, and or win both White House and Congress in 2016. Otherwise, immigration reform will be stalled just as much as getting rid of Obamacare is stalled. Funny thing is, when the Democrats had total power in government beginning in 2009, they did SQUAT on immigration reform. They could have passed anything they wanted including total amnesty for all 11 million illegals if they had WANTED to. You really think the Democrats wanted to take that kind of heat? No, they're may be wrong on a lot of issues, but they are not politically stupid. America would have made them pay a bigger price than they did in 2010 with the Republicans winning Congress. This is a hot issue for the whole country and the Democrats threw away that hot potato like they had never heard of it. I wonder why the Latino community does not hold the Democrats more accountable for letting them down? Maybe if a guy like Marco Rubio became President, we could bridge this wide gap somewhat.

It is a tough sell.
Break the law to come here.
Break the law to work.
Break the law to drive.
...and expect America to pass a law to justify your lawlessness.

Since when has rewarding bad behavior been a good idea?

Stop the political pandering and enforce the laws on the books.
