South Sudan is a very poor country. It is tempting to help them. They need the source of all wealth in the world: free enterprise and capitalism wherein one can own and run a business without undue government influence. In other words private property rights. Apparently this article indicates internal conflict. They also have to deal with the Islamic regime of Sudan. I don't think they can afford to fight among themselves with the danger to the north.
