what has changed over the years. We had just as many gun loving people years
ago. Guns left in pickups on gun racks. guns were left in closets or hung above
the fire place. Guns have not changed. peoples attitudes and the value of a
human being has changed. Wonder if roe verse wade has had any effect on this
attitude about life.
We also need to start making real efforts to end the attitude that we are
entitled to a personal arms free for all. The only way to do this is to start
putting at least a modicum of restrictions as to what kind of guns people own,
and who can own them.
Because these unfortunate events always bring up the argument of gun control, I
just wanted to put in my two cents. We as a society have begun to glorify
killing others (movies, video games, etc.) One of the things that I can see
decreasing the number of shootings we have is less about restrictions, and more
about education. First of all; gun owners should have gun safes, period.
Secondly; all gun owners and children of gun owners need to understand how
dangerous guns are and how to properly use guns- perhaps mandatory classes, like
getting a driver's license. Lastly; we need to stop glorifying violence as
a society. Unless we change our attitudes, then we cannot hope to change our
