    It's a shame that the United States' foreign policies prevent us from supporting the better side in this revolution-- namely, our need to constantly oppose the Russians and our unquestioned fealty to the radicals in Saudi Arabia (but it's justified, because they give us oil). Instead of playing sides with the Sunnis, maybe we should just do the right thing. If oil's such a big problem that it's causing moral issues for our country, maybe we should start investing in hydrogen-burning vehicles.

    Life under a moderate dictator is significantly better than under a democracy controlled by Sharia.
