How do you get a 3-1 record at the tournament when you only played 3 games? The record at the tournament was 2-1 and could easily have been 1-2. This just shows how the dnews will fall all over themselves for LP.

Travelling should've been the call.

Sound like a couple of "sour grape" posters got here first. TJ made the shot, Lone Peak won and it is over. TJ should do very well at BYU with all the other highly ranked recruits they are getting.

TJ-You have to admit that LP wasn't the best team at the tourney, Bingham and AF were better than LP or Orem. That's why LP and Orem played each other on Sat. The out of state teams looked good. There's five dnews stories on LP, one on AF and none on the rest of the teams. Or any significant stories on other teams in the state.

Good luck to T.J. Haws at the next level. He has been given the Prep of the Week this week. Good for him.

Time to spread the wealth the rest of the year DNews and recognize other student/athletes around the state that don't wear a Lone Peak jersey. The national championship is a distant memory, let's all move on and enjoy the 2013-14 season.

In boys basketball there are plenty of newsworthy teams. Alta, Davis, American Fork, Layton, Bountiful, you name it. We have seen enough of Lone Peak for awhile.

Couldn't agree more on all the press LP gets even this year already. Lets here about other teams and players.

so many LP humbugs at christmas time, soon all those kids will playing at BYU where again and again they will make the final 64... so give them 3 cheers while they are still on top

I agree. LP was not the best team. Last year, they were National Champions though. That is why they continue to get so much attention. Just like the Lakers, Notre Dame football and the Yankees. LP has a reputation now and reporters will continue to spend more time on them than other deserving teams. Just the way reporters work.

TJ, good for them LAST year. We have all moved on, it is THIS year. Time to spread the love around. I saw Lone Peak in all three games in Orem, they are going to be good but the 5A field is wide open. Let's hear about some of the other teams this year. I am tired of hearing about LP.
