    Could also mean employers are running out of staff to lay off.

    There are so many things about unemployment that require perspective. Of course hiring will uptick in the next few weeks. Seasonal hiring. Plus, the number of people who don't file for unemployment does not necessarily equate to job growth. Some people just quit looking. Some of you might remember the good old days when it was considered to be bad job numbers at 5 percent unemployment. We've been consistently in the 7 percent range for the last 5 years. I guess that's now the "new norm.
