Just sat and looked at these pictures and cried my heart out. I am so glad there are good people out there who care.

I am super glad that Miles got his wish to be with "Bat Man" for a day but I do have two problems with this whole thing:

1. I thought Make-A-Wish was for kids who currently have an illness. Since Miles' illness is in remission -- meaning his cancer has stopped and will probably go away -- why are they going overboard for him? There are tons of OTHER kids who CURRENTLY have an illness who probably will never receive this kind of treatment!

2. While everybody was focusing their attention on this kid, other "real world" problems were happening.

I am sorry if I sound mean but I don't think it's fair that a 5 year old kid who won't remember this event in a few years (the pictures will be his only recollection of this whole thing) gets this celebrity treatment, and he currently has no illness, while other children are dying from worst illness and calamities unnoticed.

And yes, I know i will probably get flack for this.
