Why print facts that do not coincide with Utah political opinion?

I guess by printing it, this makes the Deseret News part of the "Liberal" media.

BTW - Thanks DN for being truthful, even when it smacks into the bias of the locals.

Coal miner safety has come a long ways since the 50's, you can still find them and they make good money doing a job amerians don't want to do.

There is a big difference in CO2 reports and PPM measurements. CO2 is not measured by PPM count. CO2 is a natural occurring gas and can never be eliminated or reduced to what they call safe levels. Trees breath CO2 and create oxygen, its a tit for tat relationship. Maybe we need to plant more trees instead of cutting them all down to expand and exploit 3rd world country who are destroying the tree population and causing higher CO2 levels.

The CO2 levels are not a direct link to cars, its ans assumed comment to exploit low cost transportaion that is cost effective and not really cause for alarm. Loosing trees is more of an alarm then the use of fossil fuels which are biodegradable environment elements.

I think Obama is pushing this world wide false alarm to justify his wasting trillions of dollars on ineffective alternatives costing 3-4 times fossil fuel costs that is creating world wide economic destruction.

We have a leadership problem, not an environmental problem.
