Australia PM: Climate change not causing wildfires

    Tony Abbott is right Australia has a history of Wildfires, however he forgets to mention that the fires are getting worst. When you consider the equipment that is thrown at the fires now compared to 10 years ago. Add to that the increased knowledge we have on fire behavior etc. It is a pity that Tony thinks if he denies the truth it will go away.

    The heat in Central Australia is drying out the vegetation and so it is just waiting for a hot and windy day to become a ball of fire, but like Nero of old Tony will play the fiddle while the country burns.
