{"Rather than create problems, let's prove to the American people that Washington can actually solve some problems," Obama said.}

Yes let's show that Washington can actually solve problems by fully enforcing the current Immigration Laws instead of spending all of your time in office trying to undermine and replace the existing laws. If they had been fully enforced for the last 24 years by every Administration we wouldn't be in this mess. And since they haven't been properly enforced nobody believes that they will be properly enforcing any new Immigration Laws. So in another 10 years we will have the same problem.

Pandering to special interests got us into this mess.
Why would any rational human being believe it would create the solution as well?

this is ridiculous but predictable from Barack. Distract the nation during one crisis (Obamacare) while ramming through another bad policy (immigration). Just continue to say NO!!

Sir: If would please and only if you can, but I highly doubt you can. Just what is the GOP plan? And where can I find it on line? And what do they have to offer that will make both of these issues work. Thank you and will check back In a while to see what you have come up with.

He can't handle enrolling 30 million people into his socialists healthcare system. Does he believe that he can enroll 15 million more people as citizens? The Spanish website doesn't even work.

bo must be very worried about the elections in 2014, if he wants to try and secure future democrat votes by promising citizenship for their vote.

He has spent 5 years creating a failed health system. And wants to create an immigration reform in 2 months....

Why make a dead line when you don't know what's going on?

Why do the GOP need a plan?

Here is the GOP solution. Get rid of obummercare. I'll let you google search that. Typically democrat can't even do his own research. Maybe if you researched you would find other ideas other than tax, spend, borrow and blame.

Here's a solution to the healthcare "crisis". Instead of borrowing Trillions to subsidize peoples healthcare (which is what every country with a national healthcare system has to do). Why not give incentives for people to become doctors? Let's offer them 0% financing for student loans. And then offer to pay them back in full for the loan if they successfully become a doctor. BAAM the shortage of doctors taken care of.

Now we give incentives to hospitals and other medical to expand. Offer 0% interest loans for them. If they accept the poor and needy (real ones), they get a deduction off the loan.

Tax democrats to fund the purchase of costly equipment for hospitals and research.

It's very simple. Democrats believe in helping everyone. Let's help them by taxing only registered democrats for their programs?

Wala problem solved. We didn't socialize. Everyone is taken care of. Healthcare cost drop. Insurance costs drop.

I've got a GOP immigration plan for you.
1) Do not reward illegal behavior. This means NO amnesty.
2) Require SAVE for all benefits applications.
3) Mandatory E-Verify.
4) Bring back inter-agency agreements like 287g and Secure Communities.
5) More worksite raids.
6) Encourage state and local efforts to reduce illegal immigration.

Pre-existing conditions.

If people waited for an illness to get insurance, the companies would go out of business.

Shame on our political leaders, and citizens for promoting dis-honesty.

Another reason why Obamacare is crooked, and shouldn't be implemented.

Obama's amnesty scheme is aimed at adding millions of "undocumented Democrats" to voting rolls in time for the 2014 elections, or worst case, the 2016 elections.

We have immigration laws that worked for decades. They stopped working when we stopped ENFORCING them!

Enforce the laws, and welcome those who care enough to come here LEGALLY!

The AP article says 11 million here illegally. I used to hear the number as 13 million. I know I've been hearing the number at around 10 million for the last 20 years. I doubt if anyone really knows the number, but it wouldn't surprise me if in truth the number was about 30 million. Whether 10 or 30 million, that's a lot of Obamacare to pay for. And, when the official unemployment rate is is 7.2%, imagine what it will officially go up to by adding millions of now legal unemployed citizens to the rolls. Plus the unemployment rate in the African American community is into the teens. Shouldn't our priority be seeing to it that American citizens get jobs before trying to take care of illegals? No illegal should have a job when a citizen does not. Low pay you say, below minimum wage? Go after the law breaking employer. Bust a few of them, and watch the problem go away. Then let's get back to employing our citizens in at least minimum wage jobs first.

Quote, "If people waited for an illness to get insurance, the companies would go out of business."

I can't believe you can make that statement and then conclude that Obamacare is wrong. The ACA gets everyone to buy health insurance BEFORE they are sick. That's all it does... The vast majority are NOT sick now but will be in the future. Only a small percentage are those with pre-existing conditions.

News flash for Obama: We already have immigration laws, you just don't choose to enforce them and your pal Eric Holder sues states that out of necessity try to do YOUR job. Obama wants new immigration laws because illegal immigrants equals undocumented Democrats.

So, it IS ok to try to make changes and improvements to laws that are already on the books and that were passed by both houses of congress.?? I thought that was unacceptable.

redshirt007--it was Obama blasting insurance companies for preexisting policies.

He's also hiding the prices of the forced coverages, which will take more from those who already have coverage for those who don't.

Level the playing field to all of us being in poverty.

You know it's pretty funny that Obama wants this by the "end of the year". Obviously because next year is an election year, and he wants a bunch of politicans to pass something unpopular with enough of a time gap that it won't be remembered a year later at election time. It sure is good to see the sunset beginning on Obama.

Dems were strongly opposed to this during the last administration. Let's see if immigration suddenly becomes this great idea...
