    It's naïve to think this sort of thing begins and ends with Obama or the United States. It's safe to assume it's going on everywhere and always has, always will. Ironically it protects us and makes us vulnerable.

    Any ostriches that believe we or our allies aren't spying on each other and have been since it was possible are seriously avoiding reality.

    If Obama told you he wasn't spying on you, would you believe him? Neither do our European allies.
