Well I'm glad to see that someone other than Israel is worried about Irans possible nuclear weapons coming online.

I believe the real threat to U.S. interests in the area is the oil issue. If oil production were to be stopped in the Middle-East, the world economy could crash. It would be interesting to see what Europe and China would do if Iran threatened to close the Persian Gulf, and did it with nuclear weapons. Or, if Iran tried to do what Saddam in Iraq tried to do by taking over oil fields in places like Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. With nukes, they could hold a much more powerful hand in trying to become the oil barons of the world. Japan went to war in the 1940s over the need for natural resources. What would pressured countries needing oil do? Call 911 USA again? What would we do?
