The Belarus president got it right. In the history of the earth, the vast majority of people have lived under dictatorships, tyrants, kings and big government despots who enslaved, murdered and abused the rights of it's citizens as Russia has done to Belarus. American exceptionalism means that for the first time in history, our founding fathers established a nation where the people limited the powers of the state and not the other way around, which was truly an exception in history. Obama nor Putin have a clue about what American exceptionalism really means. Exceptionalism means the people tell the government what it can and can not do, not the other way around. But Obama is changing that so on second thought, maybe Obama is right; America is no longer an exceptional nation because he has "fundamentally transformed America" into just another big government dictatorship, like Russia but very unexceptional.

I'm not a fan of Obama, but Belarus calling the U.S. out. You got to laugh.
