I personally think that opponents of Obama Care should visit the exchange websites several dozen times a day. Make it not work.

Record amounts of traffic taking down a server and jammed phone lines?

For something that is supposedly so unpopular with all Americans, there seems to be a mad rush of people trying to sign up...

A lot more problems are on their way! Just wait and see what a disaster this piece of legislation becomes.

"I personally think that opponents of Obama Care should visit the exchange websites several dozen times a day. Make it not work."

That does seem to be the popular GOP strategy these days: if you can't get your way through the normal constitutional process, resort to sabotage.

imagine a giant ball of tangled fishing line - the size of a car and your job is to untangle it.... Do you really want to waste the time - years - untangling this hopeless mess? Better to just go buy a new rod and reel. Obamacare is unfix-able and I believe that is on purpose.

I just read that in the first 24 hours in Louisiana, not one person has yet been able to sign up.......what did Obama say about the Apple Iphone? Yes Barry, and Steve Jobs fired the entire team when they failed and so will we!

It's a victim of its' own popularity. Patience, and everyone will get signed up.

groupies:
4 MM checked site out of 350 MM people. And that is a raving success? How many actually signed up? barry's best hope is that over years as many as 7 MM will be in the exchange. wow. still 30 MM will remain uninsured. glad the community organizer groupies have a low threshold of success. takers keep taking and makers keep takers alive. nanny state is alive with posters on this article.

Neither my wife nor I checked the site - because we are insured already.

Neither my mom nor dad checked because... well they are already on medicare.

my son who still lives with us... didn't check the site because he is in 6th grade still.

To go to Truth;s example, if 4 million Americans checked the Apple web site the day of the launch of the iPhone, that would be a huge success. Any company would be thrilled with 4 million hits in 48 hours. Uta Alumni.... did you pay the fully loaded cost of your Utah education..... if you wanted to not be a taker, you should have gone to a private college, where you do get to pay all the cost. But you took subsidized tuition just like everyone else did. So before you go casting stones..... you owe the tax payers of Utah a bunch of money back.... seeing how you are not a taker.

Who says they are calling to sign up? And how many of them have tried dozens of times to call in and are miscounted to be eager beavers?

There are always the freeloaders first in line to sign up for anything free until they are stunned to learn its not free so the real numbers will be how many are buying this plan? With no jobs or low pay jobs they have nothing and can't buy any insurance which by the way does have a very steep deductible to even use it. Its not a co-pay insurance, its shared cost insurance with consumer paying most of the medical costs.

In 60 days the program will not have enough buyer funds to keep it in force. Its going to be a natural plan of failure and no body having insurance. The annual fines from IRS are cheaper than ACA insurance.

By the way, will this put an end to low income or unemployed Americans not having to file a tax return every year? To fine and punish the poor they have to file a tax return to pay the IRS fines or be exempted if they are buying insurance.

yeah, there are probably a lot of people who want to sign up - slackers LOVE free or heavily subsidized stuff.

polls still show more people oppose obamacare than support it.

as it's author predicted - it's a train wreck.
