Agree. If, as the survey reported, 65-70% of those familiar with and/or using Common Core standards like the standards, then DesNews coverage ought to be at least 2-1 favorable instead of 7-1 opposing.

Why on earth would we want to hear both sides, if one of those sides is just "regurgitated government propaganda"? Methinks this apparently fair-minded letter writer might not really be interested in hearing "both sides."

@Owen

That is because we are educated in the dirty details of Common Core that is not covered in the coverage or the surveys.

And worse, the extreme left does NOT want the other side heard. Hence the belittling and minimizing of the right.

Common Core is all about control and far worse.

Go to any school district website, and you will easily find what is in the Common Core or Utah State Core. It's not a secret. We would rather just listen to the talk show alarmists who make it out to be something sinister, which it is no.

@Really???

Those sites only tell you what they want they you to believe and think,

and certainly not the whole truth.

And if you do not listen to other sources you will not get the full truth. Minimizing those other sources only serve to increase ignorance, is that what you want?
