And for those over 55, every time they complete an employment application or submit tiheir CV, they will have (according to a 2012 GAO report on unemployment and older workers) a 95% chance of NOT getting the job regardless of the sector they work in. According to the GAO, many employers are now screening out any applications of those over 40 years old. And do so by asking when did you graduate from high school or asking to see your HS diploma which is not an illegal question.
