Obama is more concerned of Syria than our economics problems.

With our killings, and violence, lets hope Syria doesn't bomb Chicago, or Detroit.

Don't you find it ironic that Obama wants to send people with guns to Syria to help them overthrow a government that the people no longer like at the same time that he is limiting the ability of US citizens to buy guns to get rid of a government that the people no longer like?

So now gun acquiring is done for the purpose of overthrowing our own government? I thought it all had to do with protecting our homes and families. And RedShirt is OK with all this? Buy any gun you like, sir, but owning a gun doesn't make you a Minuteman OR a patriot.

To "Mark B" yes, if necessary keeping weapons to overthrow our government is a right. As the 2nd Ammendment states "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

If the Federal Government denies the citizens of the US their freedom, according to the constitution we have the right to defend ourself and secure our freedom.

Like it or not, but that is what the framers of the constitution intended.
