"It's been less than two months since Microsoft announced a sweeping
reorganization of its business in an attempt to reignite competition with
faster-moving rivals such as Apple and Google."Microsoft needs a
culture overhaul, if it is to compete well with Apple and Google. And changing
corporate culture isn't easy - it usually fails. Microsoft can
start with the way they treat employees - get rid of the competitive culture
where team members compete against each other for the best performance reviews
and instead reward a culture of innovation and teamwork.

other tech company has danced around the ponderous bureaucracy at Redmond. The
board should have taken this step years ago.
