Nidal is in for quite the surprise when he finally gets his death penalty wish and he finds himself on the other side of the veil ....along with other murderers. No virgins waiting...just the prince of darkness and an eternity to pay for his crimes. Not what he was told by his terrorist brethren.

I agree with this editorial. The best penalty may be life without parole.

death penalty is appropriate for the most sever crimes. People that get out and kill other inmates, guards or escape themselves can be bad. The death penalty saves many innocent lives and if someone knew they could die for murder I think the murder rate may go down. By not supporting the death penalty you are denying justice and saying an innocent person deserves to die while the guilty perpetaror deserves to live. Pre meditated murder is worthy of death after a trial.
