Kids like being kids, study finds, perhaps thanks to parenting

Wow, I wish I had been Royalty growing up in my home. Kids today. I can't wait til my kids tell me that I need to start treating them like that. They are in for a rude awakening. Parent's need to put the pants back on and not let the kids fail to fit in them.

The problem is that kids don't want to grow up, even when they are old enough to go to college or have graduated college. Studies over the past 10 years have shown that adolescence now extends into the mid 20's. In other words, we let our kids remain kids far too long.
