I am convinced that 100 years from now our descendants will look back at us and shake their head in utter disbelief that so many people smoked cigarettes.

The most dangerous drug in the world is alcohol because it can have dilatory effects on the individual consuming alcohol, but because the drinker is dangerous to those around him or her via DUI's etc. If I were hooked on nicotine I would try the electronic cigarette. Nicotine itself is not so bad it is the 500 other chemicals in the tobacco smoke that debilitate the human body. Marijuana is not a good idea as it is the most common cause of stroke in young people (constricts cerebral vessels) and reduces one's IQ especially teens.
