Great story about an obviously very impressive mother and family. My
best wishes to Stephanie and the rest of her family as they continue to progress
and help others do the same.
Congrats to a special woman. These are the qualities that I remember and
cherish from all the Mormon women in my life- grandmothers, mother, sisters,
aunts, cousins, Relief Society sisters, etc. From frontier tales to modern
mothering, it is all about priorities, sacrifice and service.I am
now an evangelical Christian (for theological reasons), but all my fondest
family memories are of my large and loving LDS heritage. Family reunions are
still the highlight of our summers. Growing up in the 60's, Mormon
doctrine tauted our distinctiveness. The modern shift away from the
controversies and focusing on families highlights what (I feel) brings success
in the Mormon lifestyle. All the best to this young mother in molding
her little brood.
