Many kids go away to school not to simply get at education, but to use what free time they have to play. They could reduce the amount of their school debt if they would get a part time job and then work a full time job in the summer. It is very difficult to face the world as an adult and be in debt as much as students are today. Instead of working it off after they graduate, plan ahead and pay as much as possible while attending school. Might have some debt, but manageable.

There are responsible young people that do keep their borrowing for school debt as low as possible because they aren't too proud to work at minimum wages.
