Interesting how it took the Great Recession to instill some sense of morality and responsibility into this generation, slowly breaking us out of the "me first" mentality given to us by our parents.

The Green energy is a Trojan Horse to lead the young into a false dream where this dream is not achievable. Energy cannot be created by science or ideas, energy can only be derived from natural resources of the land in water, coal, oil, wood, uranium. Wind and solar are not achievable or sustainable unless we depopulate the world and reduce the need for energy. Electronics and electricity does not produce anything but waste if its not coupled with machinery or working to produce a tangible product. Gadgets limit creativity and imagination.

Don't knock the war generation so whimsicality. This programing the American dream as destructive is the creation of business leaders and governemnt who programed our children to believe the American workers had anything to do with the down fall of this country, jobs, or the environment. The child programing was a government plot to discredit the right of workers to pursue happiness and sharing the wealth of business with employees. We invented health care insurance system and healthy children.

The war generation was the generation that created and lived the American dream without debt that everyone is now seeking so it must not have been so bad.

That is one of the silliest backward thinking comments I've read in a while.

With foresight like that we'd still be waiting for lightning to bring us fire, and how did we come up with nuclear power without science, cause I don't remember prometheus handing it to us?
