There is a huge difference between showing genuine compassion and empathy for victims of a horrendous crime committed by a mentally ill killer, and exploiting people as props for a political agenda.

President Obama is a master of the latter, and many people will fall for his crocodile tears and carefully scripted comments.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims' families, and I hope they can see they are being used and will decide to escape from Obama's cynical exploitation scheme.

I think I hear Sub 2's true sentiment coming through. "Oh, please. In the name of all that is good, pure and holy we must do everything we can in order to do NOTHING to reduce gun violence in this and all other countries."

@dn sub
So nice that you think you have the power to know what is I. The hearts and minds of others.

Mark B,
nice twist and obfuscation. You cannot refute with DN 2 said, so you have to twist and distort it. Typical leftist move.

And as far as reducing crimes committed by the mentally ill, neither side is going to waste any political capital on the issue, since the courts will invalidate any efforts in that regard over privacy concerns.

Tolstoy,
After witnessing BO's manipulation for 6 years, it's not hard to tell what he's doing. And we have seen Biden's manipulation for decades.

Mark B,
please re-read what I said. I did not say there was a repub plan. Again, nice twist and obfuscation.

let me post my comment again.

"neither side is going to waste any political capital on the issue, since the courts will invalidate any efforts in that regard over privacy concerns."

"NEITHER side" includes the repubs

Insulting me and my neighbors does nothing to enhance your argument, rather it diminishes it (along with the DN censor's credibility for posting a personal attack)

You know what they say: "Lead, follow or get out of the way."
