More evidence the feds are an obstacle.

No death panels in Obamacare? Just ask Kathleen Sebelius.

It's raining here in Fl., with a Tropical Storm on its way. Flooding is predicted. I'm sure the Feds had something to do with that too.

This is an time where the Feds are listening to the Medical Community and not Congressmen and newspapers. It is a very hard call, but the success of a transplant in an adult is much higher. Do you waste a lung on a high risk patient at the cost of someone else being condemed to to death? Not if it was your family.

At least we can see what the Obama government believes about the Obamacare act that he told the Congress, both House and Senate to pass and then read it. It is like any legal document with the fine print you don't read or the real intent of the language. With as many pages of the unread document, it is now found that the words are interpreted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services who has the authority to do what she did, is not what the parents of a 10-year old and it appears the U.S. Court Judge wants to know.

Pass it and then read it is as much against the law and processes of the Legislative bodies as any mandate from a President. However, lock, stock and barrel, the Senate and House leaders told their cohorts in crime to disobey the law and vote. The President in 2009, would not have told us something that wasn't legal nor unfair to a certain class of people.

I believe have moved closer to a nation that is a lover of our words and not principles. We have the most powerful IRS Agency checking our data backsides hourly.

Pathetic if you believe your statement.

How many people will be denied life saving procedures because of some regulation of being high risk. What about an older person who has paid insurance for decades, than being denied, because the age makes it high risk?

The president, and family, are exempt from Obama Care. That's a red flag right there.

@worf and Mountanman,

Okay, you hate President Obama and Obamacare. We get it.

Now, how do you both propose the precious few organs that are generously donated be distributed? What is YOUR solution to the problem? Now remember, there aren't enough to go around - someone will NOT get what they want or need. What is your criteria? I'm sure with the mountains of medical knowledge and experience you both have, you can come up with something great where everyone gets what they want, right?

CHS 85, thank you, you said it better than I did.

The Court denied someone with a much better chance to survive this disease than an unfortunate young girl. Find the father or mother and apologize to them or their survivors because a high risk patient received this lung. The Court failed and should have found to the Medical Community standards, which is not Obamacare.

The Right is true to form, it's all about ME. Remember Billy Martin of Yankees and drinking fame?
