    Congrats to the happy couple!

    The mention of extra security at the upcoming wedding reminds me of those photos from back in the days of school segregation -- the ones with little black kids trying to go to school, with all the National Guard soldiers standing around them to protect them. They were known as the "Little Rock Nine".

    Those were brave kids, standing up to help break down the barriers of racial prejudice.

    This French couple are now doing their part to help break down the barriers of widespread homophobia. I salute them!

    France should make a memorial to this. A statue of liberty to remember their biggest blunder in history.
