I helped vote Bennett out. Why? Because we need a fighter in Washington, not a philosopher.

I will never EVER defend Bob Bennett or his point of view. When I was at a certain school a few years ago, he came to visit. I asked him a few questions about his voting and he said QUOTE: "you need to get your facts straight. You don't know. You're just a dumb college kid." I wish I had my phone recording at that time.

I agree I would add, What we should all hope for is that after the trial, that every reporter and every newspaper that made us think that Obama was Lucifer himself, will also have their day in court to defend themselves against libel.

If allegations require Swallow to step down, have Obama step aside until all investigations concerning him and his administration have been completed.

The people of Utah elected John Swallow. He is innocent until proven guilty. There has been no trial; so he, in the eyes of the law, is innocent. You don't throw an innocent man out of office.

It's time that those who think they have the right to replace an elected official with someone else just because they placed some accusations with the right reporters and those reporters jumped at the chance to makes names for themselves, does not mean that John Swallow should be railroaded out of office.

If Bob Bennett's solution were applied equally, not one elected official would be left in office. There are always those who make accusations. Let the reporters report whatever their editors think is fit to print, but let the court decide on someone's guilt of innocence.

What we should all hope for is that after the trial, that every reporter and every newspaper that made us think that Swallow was Lucifer himself, will also have their day in court to defend themselves against libel.

One wonders why the Tea Party hasn't called for Swallow to at least take administrative leave. Perhaps because he is one of their own?
