House panel set to OK cut in food stamp program

    If each food stamp, feeds three people,--then half of our population are government fed. Add in unemployment, disability, school lunches, other benefits,-- and we're a dependent nation of beggars.

    Sad how the United States of America has transformed, but we keep voting in corrupt leaders.

    Wouldn't it make sense if the House and the Senate worked together to draft bills?

    What good does it do if the House wont pass anything the Senate passes and vice versa?

    This is why our congress has such a low rating.
    They would rather get nothing of everything they want then compromise.
