Thank goodness that someone from the Democratic party is calling for public testimony on this event last fall. With all the grandstanding by the President equivalent with the Ambassador Rice event last fall on every outlet they could get, Ambassador Pickering did his best of mimicking Ambassador Rice almost to the dialogue. President Nixon was good at everyone but himself go public to state their part in the process but there is only one head and all the other appendages don't count. Those parts can't move without the head. The head was thinking about elections, campaigns, media appearances, meeting with his own people and vacations and victory dances, balls, coronations, and how to keep career politicians in the CIA, Department of State and Department of Defense out of the picture and have Hillary admit to her part in the event.

Her departure was agreed upon time for running for President. The President didn't want this baggage impeding his plans for his kingdom. I would even picture that his press corps even ensured Candy Crowley knew exactly what to say about Benghazi with the Obama skew. It was orchestrated to the second to throw Romney off target.

The Republicans should agree to this request by the Democrats.

If there really was nefarious intent, it would be awesome to have that right out in front of the American Public.

We want to see the evidence of what particular things Obama and Hillary are alleged to have done. I have yet to see or hear any evidence of any wrong-doing.

Let's get the facts out. Make the deposition public. What will Issa do?

"Pickering, a career diplomat who has served in Republican and Democratic administrations, penned a highly critical report on security at a U.S. outpost in Benghazi, Libya. He defended his scathing assessment but absolved Clinton. "We knew where the responsibility rested," said Pickering, whose career spans four decades."

These are 2 highly respected men.

While the report was "highly critical" the biggest problem for the GOP is that it "absolved Clinton".

This independent investigation is not enough. They will keep "investigating" until they can pin something, ANYTHING on Clinton.

But NO, of course this is not partisan.

I am not sure republicans want be embarrassed in public like they were when read the riot act by Clinton.

The Clinton's well documented reputation for mendacity precedes her. It's difficult baggage to carry as she campaigns for 2016.
