The President's health care bill is a good name for it, even though Congress of the Democrats voted 100 percent of the way for it, even though they didn't read it before they passed it to the President to sign into law with smiles, accolades and even a promenade or two. 2010 is a proud year for the President that he got his way without throwing a tantrum except behind closed doors with the Speaker who finally said sign it to her caucus even if you haven't read it. Senator Reid just said sign it as I have a Senate campaign to run. Overhaul is another good term as it doesn't indicate a new system but one that was old and outdated even though insurance companies and medical care people were making money. Now they may be making more money as the government is in charge. Contractors have made a lot of money from the government since Lady Bird Johnson figured that out in Vietnam in the 1960s with her Texas companies. Our country can be bamboozled and doesn't care what is going on is more apparent today than in the 1960s LSD/marijuana for Clintonites.

I believe Obamacare was designed to fail.

As middle to upper income healthcare buyers are forced to pay more and more for their health insurance premiums, eventually they will BEG the government to move to universal healthcare.

This will be particularly true if the major demographic of 27-40 yr. olds refuse to purchase insurance, and just pay the penalty. There are also many health users who don't qualify for medicaid, but will qualify for a subsidy, putting them into the insurance pool. However their subsidy, and the healthcare issues that have probably been building over years will require major healthcare expenses to get caught up with those of us who have, one way or another, purchased healthcare.

The "subsidy" will not be enough to cover their "true cost" of coming into the system.

Then there's the issue of illegal aliens who won't be paying ANY of their healthcare costs, but will be present at the Dr. to make sure they get "theirs".

The system will collapse! Eventually, those of us who choose to work will be paying 40-50% of our wages to healthcare. For ourselves and those who can't pay.

hope n change - this tired phrase is such a lie yet it is attached to all of Barack's legislation. Obamacare is hurting everyone ...predictably so.

The ACA has unintended consequences, unsure funding and many ambiguities. The goal of universal and affordable health care has not been achieved. Someone in government needs to step up.

Imagine you are a pharmaceutical company and the government tell you to invent, produce and sell your product at a loss! Welcome to Obamacare folks!
